Lifetime Product Warranty

Kinolios offers a lifetime warranty on all Kinogear products against defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product. Not included are all spare parts, raw materials and products not assembled by Kinolios.

The “lifetime” of a product refers specifically to the life of service of the product, or to a time such that, under normal use, the product can no longer function for its specific intended use. The determination of whether a product has exceeded its expected product life will be made by Kinolios.

This warranty applies when the product is used for its intended purpose and not against daily wear and tear, modifications and alterations, or improper use and maintenance.

Any tears or holes caused by materials or manufacturing defects are covered by the lifetime warranty. Examples: stitching pulling out or through, weak points in the fabric or material failure within tolerances. However, if the tears or holes are due to accident, improper maintenance, neglect or natural degradation of materials over prolonged time and use, Kinolios will not repair or replace the product free of charge. This decision will be made on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of Kinolios.

In the case of a defective product during the warranty period, the customer is invited to contact customer service who will tell them how to return their product. No returns will be accepted without prior agreement evidenced by the issuance of a number and a return agreement voucher. This return agreement is valid for a period of 8 working days. From the date of its allocation, the defective product must be returned to Kinolios in its original packaging, complete (with instructions, accessories, etc.), all protected by outer packaging visibly mentioning the return number communicated by Kinogear, the return slip being included in the package before sending.

Repairs or replacements not covered by warranty will be considered on an individual basis, and the services provided will be at the expense of the customer at a reasonable rate determined at the time the product is evaluated. Products falling into this category will not begin the repair or replacement process until approved by the customer/owner.

All costs and risks associated with returning the defective product are the responsibility of the customer.

Any product whose warranty period has expired will not be covered by Kinolios

Kinolios recommends that the consumer check carefully with customer service or the manufacturer, before requesting a return under warranty, whether the latter is indeed provided by Kinogear after-sales service.
